Deborah Pearce received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Education from DePauw University and earned a Master of Arts Degree in Teaching from Northwestern University. Her teaching spans thirty years, including twenty-two years as a faculty member in the Communication Arts Department at Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio, where her classes included Interpersonal Communication, Interpersonal Conflict Management and Presentational Speaking.
Ms. Pearce is the recipient of Xavier’s Teacher of the Year Award, the Student Development Cultural Diversity Award and was chosen by the students for induction into Alpha Sigma Nu, the Jesuit Honor Society.
Today Deborah serves as a communications consultant to businesses, schools, healthcare organizations, government agencies, and not-for-profit organizations. Her consultative services include training, facilitation and coaching in:
