Over her thirty-three years of teaching, Deborah has consistently dedicated work to enhancing the communication climate of school communities.  She has served on two school boards, been a member of a North Central Accreditation team and served as a communication consultant to numerous schools.  Her services include:

Description: This highly interactive workshop will introduce educators to the skills of effective interpersonal and collaborative communication practices that are necessary to build positive relationships at school.

1. Introductions and overview of the workshop: Communication is a choice!
2. Effective communication flows from understanding our interdependence.
3. People who work together will pass through stages of relational development.
4. We have different communication styles and preferences.
